Rafael Nadal has confirmed that he will be taking part at the Queen’s Club once again this summer in the 2017 Aegon Championships, which takes place from 19th – 25th June.

A good run at the annual Wimbledon warm-up tournament is often indicative of further success at the only grass Grand Slam, with the Spaniard winning both titles in 2008.

The world number six will be competing for the title with Andy Murray, a favourite of the home crowd that is currently ranked first.

Nadal has been plagued by injuries in recent seasons, but his showing at this year’s Australian Open – where he lost to Roger Federer in the final – suggested that he may be able to challenge for the sport’s greatest prizes once more.
