Samsung Galaxy claimed the 2017 League of Legends World Championship in Beijing by beating last year’s winners SK telecom T1 3-0.

The two teams met in the final last year with SKT winning 3-2, but this time Galaxy easily claimed the tournament 3-0 in a best-of-five format.

The result at the Bird’s Nest in China was a major surprise as Tipbet’s odds had Galaxy as underdogs, while a 3-0 win was considered the most unlikely outcome at 9.50.

The South Koreans will now get a sizeable chunk (37.5%) of a prize fund that is over $4m, while SK telecom T1 will come away with 13.5%.
